Why Uniswap?
Uniswap is the world's largest decentralized exchange by volume, processing + in daily trades. It's deployed natively on Polygon, making it the natural choice for INRC's liquidity infrastructure. Unlike centralized exchanges, listing on Uniswap requires no approval — anyone can create a liquidity pool.
Uniswap V3 vs V2
INRC uses Uniswap V3, which introduced concentrated liquidity — a revolutionary improvement over V2. In V3, liquidity providers can concentrate their capital in specific price ranges, dramatically improving capital efficiency. For a new token like INRC, this means less capital is needed to provide meaningful liquidity depth.
Pool Creation Process
- Connected MetaMask to Uniswap V3 on Polygon
- Navigated to "New Position" → "Select Pair"
- Selected INRC (custom contract address) / MATIC as the trading pair
- Selected 1% fee tier (appropriate for volatile new tokens)
- Set price range: full range initially to ensure tradability at all prices
- Added initial liquidity (both INRC and MATIC tokens)
- Confirmed transaction — pool created
Fee Tier Selection
Uniswap V3 offers 0.05%, 0.3%, and 1% fee tiers. INRC selected 1% — appropriate for a new, volatile token with lower trading volume. Higher fees compensate liquidity providers for the higher impermanent loss risk of volatile pairs. As INRC matures and volume grows, migrating to 0.3% tier will be considered.
Bootstrapping Liquidity
Initial liquidity bootstrapping is the hardest part of launching a new DEX token. With thin liquidity, even small trades cause massive price swings. INRC allocated 50% of total supply to liquidity — ensuring substantial depth from day one. This 50% allocation is the most important tokenomics decision for DEX-listed tokens.
Ongoing Liquidity Management
Active liquidity management involves monitoring the INRC/MATIC pool and adjusting price ranges as the market evolves. When prices move outside the active range, liquidity becomes inactive and earns no fees. The marketing allocation includes funds for ongoing liquidity deepening as the project grows.
